Scoliosis Screening

New Jersey State mandates that all children between the ages of 10 and 18 be screened for Scoliosis, which is a mild curvature of the spine. This is normally done in the spring, and simply involves an inspection of the child's spine by the School Nurse, while they are bent forward at the waist. If you wish to not have your child screened by the School Nurse, you must sign, date and return the appropriate form. (For 5th grade students only.)
