New Student Registration

Welcome to the River Vale Public School District!  Our schools are dedicated to providing each student with a first-class education in a safe and supportive environment. The Board of Education and staff join with both parents and the community-at-large in a commitment to promoting self-discipline, motivation, and academic excellence in all children.

Our district is comprised of three schools:

  • Roberge Elementary (grades Pre-K and K-5)

  • Woodside Elementary (grades K-5) 

  • Holdrum Middle School (grades 6-8). 

We value our students' acquisition of knowledge as well as the development of their critical thinking and problem solving skills. Our ultimate goal is to help all children develop into independent, self-sufficient, and productive adults who will succeed and contribute responsibly to the global community.  We are committed to excellence and invite you to become part of our award-winning school district.

Integrated Pre-School Program

Children who will be three (3) years old, but not yet five (5) years old on or before October 1st of the incoming year and who are River Vale residents are eligible to apply.

PLEASE NOTE: Pre-School students are NOT eligible for the online pre-registration.

Kindergarten - Grade 8 Registration

Kindergarten - Grade 8 New Student Registration must be completed for each new student entering the district.

Please note: Children who will be five (5) years of age on or before October 1st of the incoming year and who are residents of River Vale are eligible to register for school.  Kindergarten registration opens January 1st for the new school year, if you pre-register your child for kindergarten before January1st, your registration will be archived or lost.
